Nice ‘N’ Easy Chocolate Cornflake Bites

Hiyyyaa all,

So I’m back again! And this time I’m back to share a short how-to on these lovely chocolately creations my friend Ellie and I dreamed up. They are super easy and a great treat for…well anyone!! Enjoy lovelies xoxox

You Will Need:

  • Cornflakes
  • 1 bar of milk/dark chocolate
  • 1 bar of white chocolate
  • Silicone Moulds (you can use proper chocolate moulds, but ice-cube moulds will work the same)
  • Microwave
  • 2 Bowls
  • Spoons
  1. First take the two chocolate bars and melt them in the microwave. This should take around 1 min and a half but this depends on the temperature of your microwave.
  2. Whilst the chocolate is cooling down a little, take your cornflakes and fill your mould up halfway.
  3. Then take your chocolate and using a spoon drizzle it on top of the cornflakes in each mould.
  4. Then leave to set in the fridge for around and hour – et voila! Cute, easy-peasy sweet snacks perfect for any occasion!

If it wasn’t for my friend ellie then I never would have come across this lovely idea so please go and check out her blog because she has only recently started and I know its going to be amazink (yes, I just made up my own word)!!

Thank you for reading!!

My (now not so) New Satchel Bag!!

51bi79Ag5GL

Heyyya. Long time no see. Although – I can’t actually see you guys, but I think you know what I mean! I’m soooo sorry I haven’t posted for ages but kinda been caught up and busy in other stuff (holiday, school and Instagramming…) but YES I know thats not a good enough reason. It been almost a month since I last posted, I mean can you believe that?  Righty ho, on with the show. This post is about my bag which I ordered from Amazon not so long ago, and have fallen completly head-over-heels in love with it. If you love it as much as me, then (obvs) click on the ‘CLICK HERE’ button below and it’ll take you straight to amazon. Lotsa love xxx

So I got this bag about 2 weeks back and was super super pleased with it. Its the perfect size to fit all my stuff in it (and in my case that quite a lot!!) – as well as a load of random crap I usually carry the following in my bag: mascara, lipgloss, mirror, phone, magazine, 2 notebooks, 2 pens (and no, I have no idea why I have to have to of each!), tissues, earphones, purse, hairbrush, hand cream, hand sanitizer, bobby pins, Kleenex shine absorbing sheets, face wipes, body spray, perfume, random bits of jewellery and a hec of a lot of receipts! So a bag can carry all that then its bound to be a winner/all-rounder/bag-that-you’ll-use-until-it-breaks. It also goes with literally everything in my wardrobe – which is why I opted for the classic brown colour because although it might be boring – it’ll never date. The bag is a really nice style and personally I think it looks more expensive than others for this reason. It have a detachable strap and you can change the length of it too. And whats more it comes in avariety of different colours – yayy! So just hit that green button…

Ciate’s Hot New Nail Kit

chalkboard_nails_v_26mar13_pr_b_426x639

Say what? Chalkboard paint for nails – you have to be kidding me. Ciate has never failed to impress us (especailly this year) with their bestselling Caviar and Velevet maincure sets (see below), as well as the gorgeous polishes they have to offer too. But their latest (and I personally think their most innovative) mani set is Chalkboard nails. there I said it. They look incredibly cool, complete with a liquid chalk pen that you can doodle with (on your nails, obvs) to your hearts content – yes, really. The pack includes the matte ‘blackboard’ base coat, four pens and a Ciate top coat. Once the base coat is dry, you can experiment with different designs using the pens – if you don’t likey then they just simpley wash off with water and you can start doodling on your nails all over again! Once you’re happy with a design cover with the top coat and you’re done!! It’s like being back at school – but this time doodling is encouraged (finally) ☺

Street Style Snaps: Vogue Festival

Love Vogue. Love Vogue Festival. I wish I could’ve gone – but I think these pics almost make up for it!! I think street style is one of the best ways to get inspo for your outfits and wardrobe because – sorry high-end designer boutiques and catwalks – its a quick (and cheaper) way to get an idea of the trends, what people are wearing and what you like – without going out of your way – like searching the web, reading tons of fash mags or going to pricey catwalk shows – pha as if we hate doing that anyway!!

Eeeeeek!! H&M’s Summer Range has Landed!

mainpic2

OMG. I didn’t think it was possible for me to adore H&M any more – but it is!! I am already completely in love with their new summer range (not least because its fronted by Beyonce) – with pieces ranging from glittering bralets to brightly coloured shoes and printed bikinis to aztec jewellery, there’s sure to be something for everyone. But the best part is yet to come. H&M is famous for its affordable – but great quality – clothing and they continue to not disappoint. Prices range from as low as £7.99 but don’t cost more than £40 – its a win-win situation don’t ya think? Unfortunately tho’ guys, you’re gonna have to keep calm and carry on until the 2nd May when the clothes hit the shops – ready, steady, shop!!

4 DIY’s To Kick-Start Your Summer

4diysummer

Hey all, today I have some super-duper diy’s to liven up your spring and…well…get you in the summery mood – who cares if we’re early?!

1. Ribbon Bow Sandals

Screen shot 2013-04-22 at 18.45.33

This first DIY, I found on another blog- called ‘Sprinkles in Springs’. Its reaaaaallly cool and Kara (its her blog)  posts inspiring diys and lookbooks – its defo worth a a look. Just click on the shoesies if you wanna check it out. The diy itself, is probably much easier than you think. Just tie a few bows out of ribbon and glue them down the front. Simples.

2. Pretty Little Tea Light

I’ve always loved the fact that in summer you can stay outside for ages and it will still be light. But as the light starts to fade, you need a cute votive to help you see the way ♥

image-2

I don’t even think I need to explain this one it so easy-peasy. Just grab anything that takes your fancy e.g. fabric scraps/remnents, ribbon, buttons – you get the idea – and arrange them on your chosen tealight before gluing. The best thing about this is that no tealight can ever be the same – yay!

3. Triangle-Tipped Mani

DSCN1338

This (although it may not look it) is also super-easy – noticing a pattern anyone?? All you are gonna need is:

  • 2 bottles of nail polish (I recommend a light colour for the base and a bright colour for the triangle – even tho’ I’ve done completly the opposite!!)
  • Top coat (optional)
  • Selotape/sticky tape
  • Nail polish remover- to make sure your nails are clean
  • Nail Scissors – to cut the tape

First, paint your bottom coat. You may need to do this up to three times depending on your nail polish shade. Then, making sure the bottom layer is COMPLETELY dry, I repeat COMPLETELY dry, take two pieces of tape and position them diagonal on either side of the nail so they make a triangle. Do this with all of your nails (it doesn’t take as long as you think). Paint over and leave to dry properly for a good 15 minutes. Peel of the tape – make sure you are gentle – and leave to dry for another few minutes before appyling your top coat. Woooo! Ya done.

4.  Crocheted Floral Headbands

vintique_image-1

I luvvv these headbands cause they are really verstatile (yep, I know thats my word at the mo!). You can either wear them as a headband, hairband, bracelet, necklace – I mean the list doesn’t end!! If you guys are COMPLETELY (big completely!!) in love with them – they are really pretty – then click here. The blog is sooo nice – its one of my mum’s favourites for crochet patterns and is just generally tip-top so check it out. If for whatev’s reason you can’t find the pattern then just comment – and remember that the pattern was originally intended to be made into a garland, but my mum made it into a band for me ‘coz she’s genius☺, so you might have to alter it.

Thanks for reading lovely people – its much appreicated!!
